Default Do i need to bore this block?

I got this b20b block a while ago. I noticed some scarring on the cylinder walls and wanted to know if I have to bore it or just get it honed? The scars catch your finger nail slightly let me know what you think?

Ill post pics in a few minutes Im on my phone.

heres my opinion..

I wouldnt do a real hone if the scars arent that deep. I would use flex stones (flex hone) to deglaze it and maybe it will fix the issues. If it doesnt, then a hone from the machine shop will be needed and/or a re-bore if theyre deep

flex hones are only 30 bucks

edit: if the engine blew then i would have the bores checked with a dial bore gauge to see if everything is in spec. So a trip to the machine shop might be in your best interest

As stated, get a cheap flex hone and throw it on your electric drill. If it doesn't fix it, it was only a few bucks. GL.

just send it to a machine shop and have them hone it,they will let you know if the scaring is too deep and will recomend a bore.
