Is your motor OBD1 or OBD2? If its OBD2, I think the crank position sensor is near the crank sprocket.

if the motor is obd2 the crank sensor is located behind the crank pulley.
obd1 you dont need this sensor.
Inside the distributor you have the cam sensor

Neal i dont live in tampa anymore

The motor is obd1 and it through this code only once the other day for the first time since the new dissy this car is not a daily driver now its pretty much a maybe once a week drove car. But everytime it throws this code it goes into limp mode which is very annoying. Neal do you think it maybe wiring? You remember my white hatch that had that torn up wires under the dash. maybe you have a dash harness laying around for a eg

hope this helps
