Default b20vtec pistons????

ok, im currently in the process of building a all motor b20 vtec and i would like to know whats the best bang for the buck pistons wise? any help or recomendations will be appreciated, also if u have a set of pistons and or rods let me know...

i personally use cp-carillo and feel that they are great solid pistons and are every bit worth the money

i've heard a lot of great things about rs machine and im considering ordering a set, is there any other company that makes good pistons for a low price?

Yeah I've thought about ycp buy they only make 84 and 85mm and I need 84.5mm

If you can't go ycp then RS is your next best bet.... Im in the same boat, I will likley go ycp tho.

I have RS Machine 84.5mm. You can do stock rods with ARP hardware as well.

stock rods with arp rod bolts is a-ok. Aftermarket rods will just add weight to the rotating assembly.

i just ordered a set of 84.5mm rs machine pistons, i would have ordered the ycp's but my sleeves are a little worn and i also want a little more displacement without going all the way to 85mm, but thanks everybody for your help and hopefully ill have everything ready soon...
