cat vs hi flow cat vs testpipe is it worth it ?
All motor guys say aything after the collector is a restriction
but in a daily driven na honda that uses a 3'' full exhaust how much backpressure= loss of power a catalyzer takes ?
what about hi flow cats are these worth it over oem cat or they are racing parts that need replace break/cloq alot easyer ?
i'm using toda header and a 2.5'' to 3'' transition to the rest of the 3'' exhaust
thinking about adding a hi flow cat after the transition...

2 5" Magnaflow Universal 59956 Catalytic Converter High Flow Spun Metallic Cat | eBay
Make sure you get spun, and make sure you get metallic.
I prefer a cat over a testpipe...helps mellow out rasp.

i like the sound of my 3'' exhaust
i dont like the smell when have to stop with windows down & the mot, cops problems that can occur.
what about 100cell over 200cell ?
100 cell wont be less restrictive ?

Mil.Spec :: Universal :: 100 cell cats :: 3.0" 100 Cell Weld-In Cat
Highest flowing actual cat out there. Will kill fuel smell, not gonna pass smog.

claims it's the best flowing cat.
hmmm it's 3'' ,spun & metallic it looks ideal !
price is high compared to magnaflow but i think you pay what you get ?
my car wont pass smog by little %'s
i hope this cat & 3'' exhaust will help with less backpressure as possible on my apliccation.

Thats the cat im using on mine.
Theres no back pressure with 3" and as long as the collector is a good design, then youll see some gains over what you got.
I also have (2) 18" resonators and a Vibrant muffler. Its still loud but not too much to attract the po-po. At WOT is a different story.

Not worth it unless it is a fully built race car.
The gain from test pipe & hi-flow cat is a only few hp difference.
If it's a daily drive, you would keep smelling unburnt fuel into the cabin from vent / roll down windows.
