Default Cam Gear holder > where?

I'm trying to locate a cam gear "holder"

The unit that locks the cam gears in place for torquing them off.

Any links appreciated, thanks.

Impact or leave the belt on and hold crank with a 19mm then loosen them up

I know Mac Tools and Matco make one. I think the Mac Tools one is a Honda engine specific billet piece and the Matco one is a universal for DOHC motors.

Maybe the Mac Tools guy will come by your place.

I have the Matco kit, it comes with a billet locking peice for all different DOHC honda engines.

Then I got it backwards. Regardless, they are a pretty penny.

you can also use a pin punch to hold the cams in place when both cams are at tdc on cyl 1.

I use a coil over wrench to hold the cam gear. Works perfect.

Wow! $260 is a little pricey! Nice tool though.

Thanks for all the replies guys.

Looks decent. I may just impact everything off, but I still like the idea of a lock.

The blue one is made by Lisle. It's universal so the fit won't be as good as the fixed units. But it works.
