Re: Cam choice stroked gsr
Thanks. just want a larger cam profile than the itr to take advantage of the upped compression. Was thinking to go with either tuner 3's or bc spec 4

Re: Cam choice stroked gsr
so are you looking to make a peak high hp or a broader powerband?
I normally don't recommend itrs on more than 12:1 but thats pump 91-93 octane. with the e85 you will be able to run more timing. it will have a wicked powerband/area under the curve. I could easily see 150 ft lbs and I bet still make 200 whp. itr or maybe bc3+ for power at or below 8000 rpm. just my personal experience I just had an 82x89 mm vtec with itrs.power was good but timing was fuel/ knock limited. with the few more degrees e85 will let u run it will really help a lot

With those pistons you will be right at 12:1 static compression. IMO not enough compression or displacement for anything too aggressive. Tuner 3's or spec 4's are better suited for a 12:1+ 2L

That car is still running strong. The owner of "SHE" wants to turbocharge, now.
