B18C1 block with b16a2 head cost?
Naturally aspirated is the way to go. I know a lot of ls vtec uses b18b or b20 block paired with b16a head. However I want to go b18c1 block with b16a2 head.
I have a stock b16a2
Plans:
1. get b18c1 block
2. get ctr pistons
3. get ctr camshaft
4. get tune
5. sell my b16a2 block
How much will just the labor cost?

It all boils down to what your local market is. How much are block/heads selling for in your area? Factor in machine shop costs for resurfacing/decking and boring/honing, valve job. Etc...... And the price of the parts you are looking at. Im into mine for around 2200, and thats with buying new cams, manifold, and 2 sets of rings and bearings (for spares)

Your best bet is to call around to machine shops in your area and ask them for prices on:
-resurfacing head
-decking block
-honing
If you plan on having it assembled there also ask that price.
Contacting multiple shop will give you an idea of pricing and you can chose from there.
