Get some CTR cams, lighter flywheel (better clutch while your at it), Junk2 or Blox intake manifold, a good header, and a tune. You should be able to walk a type r no problem after that

Yeah the CTR cams are a little bigger than ITR's they are pretty much the same as the S2 cams. You dont need valvetrain but I'd do it to be safe. I ran CTR's in my GSR for a long *** time, then I did a B20 and used em in there as well. The only time I had a problem with them is when I put a old *** B16a head on my car that was beat on alot and a valve broke.

I just wanted to clarify for the OP that we offer six camshaft grinds for the B and that only one of them is similar to the CTR's. The Skunk2 Stage 1 is close in lift and duration but still has a better profile. It is also the ONLY aftermarket CARB Legal camshaft for the B Series.

to add to the "simple recipe"
get a ctr intake cam and leave the gsr exhaust cam in there. better combination for a better price

They are worth it if you degree the cams and dial in the cam gears during a dyno tune. Even with stock cams you can make more power with cam gear tuning.
