v6 into 04 tsx, can it be done?
i would like to take a 3.0 w/ 6 speed transmission out of an accord and swap it in to my 04 tsx. thats the only way i will even consider not selling this car. can it be done somewhat easily? i know the accord is essentially the same chassis as the tsx so i dont see why not but i just cant find any info on it. any input?

lol I was thinking about this the other day, a J from a Type S would be sick in a TSX... but just like Civics and Integra's I doubt it will fit without cutting the hood all to pieces so it will close.
Our motors respond well to mods, why not modify the K24 to make 250-275whp? It will probably cost the same as swapping in a V6....

I agree... The cost would not be worth it... U can mod the K24 so much... But I don't agree with the "not fitting part" These motors in a TSX, Accord and TL's sit so much lower than the Civics and integras. I don't think u'd have to cut the hood.

According to that thread on K20.org, a TL subframe and other misc TL items are being used to fit the J into a CL9.
The guy has run into some issues getting clearance from the Radiator and Condensor, otherwise its not that bad of a swap so far, it does not seem near completion though.

Anything can be done with time/money/modifications. I don't think it's worth it for this car unless money is a non-issue. The K24a2 is a good motor and you should build upon it. If not sell and buy an 03-07 Accord 6-6mt.
