Tutorials on Suspension Install on 2007 TSX?
I've been looking around the internet trying to find a tutorial on how to install lowering springs on my wife's TSX and have had no luck. I am very familiar with this type of install on Civics/Integras, but am a little scared of working on the multi link rear suspension. I will be installing Tein springs on the stock shocks and an Ingalls rear camber kit. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

If you can install coil springs on a Civic or Integra, you can install coil springs on a TSX. No, the suspension design is not the same, but for the most part, doing general suspension work is all the same.

The front is the same as any older honda. The rear is pretty much the same except for having to remove the sway links.

I am that way with civics/integras, but am a noob to anything newer than 2000. I actually bought the Ingalls kit from Heeltoe after reading your review on them. I will keep your number handy and that is much appreciated.

Awesome
The front is the same on TSX as it is in Civics. The rear is a tad different because it is a multi-link. The upper bolts are under the rear seat bolsters. You'll need to undo the RSB links on each side to get the shocks out easiest.

I just left you a message. I had a quick question about the Ingalls rear camber kit installation.
Does it matter which way you put them in? Can I put the reverse thread side on either the inside or outside? It's kind of hard to explain just typing.

I have the aspec suspension install manual that I can email you if you wish. It will walk you through step by step how to install your suspension.

I got everything installed. Including dinner, cleaning up the garage and talking to my neighbor for a while it took me 6 1/2 hours. Not too shabby for screwing around the whole time. I go get it aligned tomorrow, so we'll see what happens then.

I got some uploaded, I'll post them when I get off work. The alignment went perfect, it rides nice and there is no rubbing with the stock wheels at all.

FYI, I installed Tien H Tech springs over the stock shocks
Blew the rear passenger side pretty much right away. Replaced that one with another oem shock, in about 2 months both rears were blown again. Last weekend I replaced all 4 with Tociko blue's. I am very careful on the roads, but Jersey roads suck. Be prepaired to replace the shocks often if you are using oem.

Sweet...... I figured that would be the case, but didn't even want to think about it. Why are Tokico Blues any better? They are the stock length right? Do you think 07 shocks with only 30k miles on them might last a little longer than the ones you had?

Probably not, the one i replaced like 2 weeks later it blew again. The roads are **** around here but i wouldnt put much faith in them lasting very long at all.
The blue's are more proformance oriented and generally handle a lowerd car a lot better.

I will be ordering some Tokico Blues when I get paid tomorrow. This whole "simple" suspension install will end up costing about $700 when it's all said and done. My wife better like it haha.
