hello,
I was wondering if anyone had this problem.
When i press the gas, the car begins to shake...Is it possible that its the alignment or wheel balancing?

Maybe bent rim?

Does anyone else have this problem?

So,

a.) you press the gas pedal, car moves at speed, and then begins to shake?

Or...

b.) You press the gas pedal and the engine makes the whole car shake?

I going out on a limb by saying either,

a.) Tires out of balance

or,

b.) Engine mounts are destroyed

Do you have any more information for us?

I press the gas padel and the car moves and shakes.....

I just got a tire balance and I still have the same problem....
Oh man....

Engine mounts can cause this....they checked the alignment and it is only slightly off
I don't think that can cause it

Is there anything else associated with the shaking - i.e., abnormal noises? Does the steering wheel shake excessively or the entire car?

Well I am dropping off the car to the stealership....
Hopefully they can fix it before saturday...
I will keep you all updated....

a mechanic on sunday said it could be:

motor mount
cv joint
axle

evertp1

ghey

now the car is being sent to acura....
ughhh....
they did everything they could and it still is not driveable the mechanic said...i am furious

does it shake when you don't give it gas and you are rolling? If it doesn't then it's probably an axle

jgirard, It shakes when I press the gas. As soon as I get to the desired speed and let go, Shaking is gone.

They did whatever basic problem finding they did. Then they did take the axles out. They did not find anything wrong.

They are dumbfounded
