New Clutch And Now Car Wont Move
We replaced the clutch on my buddys 2008 TSX today because he was having issues with his clutch slipping while accelerating. He went with a Exedy oem style clutch with flywheel. After we were finished with the installation we bled the clutch then was able to put it into first gear and pull out of the garage. We let the car idle for a little and went to go take it for a test drive and it wouldnt go into gear.
When we try to put it in gear it grinds like the clutch isnt engaging. When we give it gas the speedometer moves like the car believes it is in gear whiles its not. When I take a look at the piston on the slave cylinder it is moving the fork in and out like it should. I took a look at the pedal and it is dry so I dont believe there are any leaks.
Any ideas on what it could be or what I should check next? I am new to these newer types of transmission setups. Could this be an issue with one of the cables for the tranny? What is the function of the solenoid on the transmission for? Anything I am not thinking about?

Re: New Clutch And Now Car Wont Move
Your axle probably popped out of the trans. That's why your speedo is moving.
Clutch terms that may help you describe problems:
-Engaged means foot off the clutch, pedal up. Clutch is engaged and moving the drivetrain.
-Dis engaged means your foot on the clutch, pedal down, clutch is disconnecting the drivetrain from the engine.
