Installing '99 Civic CD into '97 CRV?
I have an OEM AM/FM/CD stereo from a 1999 Civic that I'd like to put into my 1997 CRV. The installer I went to said the wiring on the two stereos is different and therefore incompatible. Is there any way to put the CD player in? Right now, I just have the AM/FM head unit in the CRV with an accessory tape player. Any advice is appreciated.

you could do it, but you need to find a wiring diagram and pinout for the two stereos so you can "make" a wiring harness and/or bust out the nuclear powered twin turbo soldering iron!
