The 00-03 3.2TL and 3.2CL's were the cars that mainly had transmission problems. I don't have hard data, but it probably affected less than 5% of total production.
As far as other major problems, many complain of warped rotors.

They didn't just install the fluid jet, but actually replaced the transmission?
Like corey said, '00-'03 TL and CL are the main affected models of the transmission problem; it stems from uneven finish on the 3rd gear clutch disk, and over time, the clutchpack could shatter due to the rough surfaces. That's why if the transmission goes, the tranny drops down to second gear. Some members on A-TL and A-CL have crashed from their transmission dropping to second gear while at highway speeds.
5% is a VERY conservative figure, by the way. Acura/Honda says it's 2%, but we all know that's a crock of ****. The actual figure is a lot higher than that -- just check how many people have had their transmissions replaced on A-TL and A-CL forums.
Warped rotors is definitely a common problem. Depending on dealership and mileage, you may get them refinished or replaced at no charge. I just had mine replaced at 26k miles; they didn't even bother trying to refinish them because they were so badly warped.
Broken IMRC is also another common problem. This is only on the Type-S model, however, so it does not concern your car specifically.
Rattles and squeaks thanks to al dente chassis -- another problem without permanent solutions.
That's about it.

Re: Does the Acura 3.2tl..... (Pure Adrenaline)
i worked at an acura dealership we replaced prolly 6 to 8 trans a month for a good year and half, basically the trans from01- to the middle of 03 were defective, so honda/acura extended the warranty on them until they found a fix, they designed a new trans, and since the cars we replaced trans we never seen them in again... so if they replaced the trans you prolly got the updated one shouldnt have any further probs

Sorry, but even the reburshed replacement units are failing. There are a lot of members on the forums who have gone through multiple transmissions, almost all of them with "the fix".
There is no permanent fix with this problem as of right now. The recall itself is for the 2nd gear problem, but THE problem is with the 3rd gear clutchpack.
