Both look great. Obviously, your's looks better. You have to get your brother to catch up!
Do you have a mod list somewhere?

Re: (GiNuWiNe)
Quite well.
Stock Type-S puts down somewhere around 195-200 fwhp.
With intake, headers, pulleys and spacers (V-AFCII was untuned at the time), my car put down 239.8 fwhp. It's been tuned since then, with the Spoon cooling mods, so it should be good for around 250 fwhp-ish... Hopefully I'll put my car on the dyno again sometime this season.

6sp and what? anything else, if not then it's not an S. They'd put an emblem if it was. maybe tl-s for stick. haha.

If you opted for the 6-speed, then your car also came with a thicker rear sway bar, and Brembo 4-piston calipers up front (in fact, a different hub design to accommodate the calipers). I believe a few of the suspension components have different part numbers, but as far as the driving characteristics are concerned, I did not find a noticeable difference between an auto and a manual TL.
And yeah, if it really were a Type-S, then they would've put the badge on there. Acura already announced that the Type-S moniker is gone. The 6-speed option package is just that -- an option package. As was the Type-S package on the 2G TL, but which was called Type-S. The 6-speed option is not.
So you can go ahead and put a Type-S badge on a 6-speed 3G, but it wouldn't be right. In fact, I really can't think of anybody on acurazine who did that, and that's the largest TL message board.
Type-S is gone... replaced with A-spec and HFP.

6sp MT also has a Limited Slip Differential. the TL Automatic doesn't.

Yep, that, too. I forgot about that.

This month's Motortrend (I guess it's september issue) mentioned that for 07-08 there might be a 300horse type-s (of course yet to be officially announced) using the 3.5L from the RL.

3G Type-S has been confirmed, it seems.
286 hp / 256 tq, paddle shifters, midly reworked exterior and interior.
Acura has announced in the past that the Type-S moniker was gone, replaced by A-spec and HFP. It seems they've changed their mind. Kind of gay, if you would ask me.
Either way, I am disappointed in the car. The redesign is not really pleasing and it seems on the Type-S, you can't get the manual option. They only said that the Type-S will come with the paddle shifters, so at this point, that pretty much rules it out.
Thanks for the compliments on the cars, guys. To answer the question, on a hot humid day, we were dead even. In better weather, the '03 would pull ahead. On a road course, the '03, hands down.
My '03 is actually for sale now, due to moving and whatnot. PM me if you want it. :D
