B20B Non-VTEC
Check out this thread I responded to, it some info about the engine.
97-98 were B20B
99-01 were B20Z
Just look towards the middle left hand side (looking at engine from front) under the header (exhaust), near where the transmission bolts up. You'll see some stamped stuff on the block, it will say B20B4 in big print. Assuming your engines clean enough!
If the engine has VTEC it will say it on the valve cover. Hence yours does not, but that doesn't mean it can't be added!
