hummm, got a little problemo here.

i've got a 4-1 header on my 79 1200 and i guess age has taken it's toll. last night the header snapped at the collector. now, all i've got is a lil straight pipes off the head that go to the atmosphere where they met the collector. is it safe to drive like this? it's got a fully built engine in it so i'm not as worried... but unfortunatly i bought the car.... 9th hand or somethin like that, so i don't know exactly whats in their.

anyway, who makes a header for this car in a 4-1 design? i need one pretty quick. i heard jackson racing had one, but i'm not sure.... thanks

ok ok ok

i'm learning new things and apparently what i have is a header with a merge collector. my question, since the primaries have come seperated from the merge collector, can i reconnect all this mess and be good to go? or is it obviosuly time to replace everything between the head and my piping? also, how are the primaries and the merge collector seemed together? welding i'm sure... but if so, how in the world did i manage to do this?!!?!?!
