Will I need a torch for rear springs install?

Will I need a torch for rear springs install?
I've searched all over and can't find an answer. Anyway, when I owned a Type S I installed some skunk 2 springs, The fronts were a piece of cake. But I had to have a friend of my brother use a torch to cut some bolts to get the rear shocks out. I'm assuming the suspension is identical to the 2002 rsx type S and just need to know if this is a problem I might run into with the 2004 ep3 I just picked up, if so then I won't even attempt it because I don't have access to a torch anymore. Thanks for any info.

its hard to tell. not all of the cars will need to have the bolts heated up or cut off, I'm assuming you are referring to the lower bolt. with my 2005 i have never had a single problem taking out the bolts and putting them back in, and i've done it more times then i can count.

Don't know how common it, like it was previously stated it is a case by case thing....
That being said I had to do the same with my car as the previous owner didn't put anti-seize on any of the bolts they removed and put back. Just remember, especially if the car will see road salt, put anti-seize on all your bolts, you will thank yourself later.
