what does RSX stand for?
i thought it'd be interesting what kinda funny names people have come up with for the RSX. and also to test the sense of humor in this perticular forum cuz if y'all people are anything like those generic cocky integra owners/fans, then i feel sorry for u.

Ridiculously Silly Exterior....
I think the performance of the car is great, the interior is great, but that exterior - not so great. Look's like it's another round of the japanese trying to copy German styling again...What's odd though is that the RSX looks like a mix of a Pontiac Grand AM and BMW 3 series....seriously.
On a side note, did anyone get the September edition of the quarterly Acura magazine (Acura Style). Pete Cunningham did a test drive of the RSX at Willow Springs. Pretty cool article.

Really Subaru eXcrement.
Priced about the same, I can't see buying one over a WRX. I'm sure the i-VTEC's great, but I'd rather have AWD and a turbo for the $.

back when the NSX was in development, it was code named "NS-X" for New Sports car X. They were planning to give it a "real" name, but automotive journalists and enthusiasts became so familiar with "NSX" that they just kept it. So RSX is probably just so there is some "connection" with the flagship NSX. Remember in Japan, it's still "Integra". So it was an Acura decision to call it RSX.
