rsx type r, civic type r sway bar is it worth it?
well i guess the topic says it all. i have a chance to pick up a rsx type r rear sway bar(22mm) with bushings for $100.00. Is this a good price and is it a worthy mod to do to your ep3? i know the ep3 sway bar is 15mm,the rsx type s is 19mm and the ctr and rsx -r is 22mm. i'm just looking for some feedback on anybody that has done and what kind of price they paid and was it worth their cash,oh yes and how difficult was the install? thanks guys.

Re: (VNlilMAN)
I have a CTR rear sway and a stock front in my EP, and I auto-x with it... no problems yet. I've heard lots of people say they've heard about people saying thier endlinks broke, but not any direct stories or posts to confirm it anywhere.
Anyways, Im upgrading my suspension soon, so I think some of the stress will be taken off the endlinks after that. I think the 22mm bar is a good buy and it really helps with auto-x.

well i should have the rear swaybar in a few days but i have a question. i've now heard a few people having trouble when they have the sway bar installed that the bar was installed upside down which caused the endlinks to break. when i get the bar how do i tell which way is up and not upside down? thanks

What shocks/springs are you using, now?
LOL, busted, 52K miles OEM shocks with Fast & Furious type Sprint (tighzite as heck YO) blue sprint springs!! Bling!
gots zero cash, so suspension upgrades will have to wait........I'll just bounce off the stops till I can afford something else

i was just on the integra forum and some people have posted about upgrading to a ITR rear sway and using some bsq kit for the endlinks. alot of peoples bushing and endlinks look really bad on the photo's.https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=615217. there's the link if you can get into it, do i have to worry about any of that stuff on a ep3 because i'm going to a CTR/RSX-R rear sway bar?

Why do you say that?

well i put the CTR sway bar on today and it made a huge difference. when you do some hard cornering the car goes exactly where you want it to, none of the you turn and your car continues to go striaght. the only down side is my greddy cat back pipping is a little to big so there is a little rubbing on the swaybar but nothing to serious. i took off the greddy evo now after only 2 months of use but it's all good because the handling has improved 10 fold.

i like the setup with having the stock ep3 swaybar in the front and the type r bar in the rear. the car is very predictable, even when cornering very aggressive.
