I just got my rsx type s but I got it with a dead battery , so I have put in a new battery and notice that the radio doesn't work somebody told me that I do need a code but is it normal that the anti theft light wont go on or you don't get anything on the screen when trying to put the radio on ????

talk to an acura dealer. if you have the serial number the code is yours for free.

you bought the car with a dead battery? what are we missing here?

if the antitheft doesn't turn on and you don't even get power to the radio, sometihng else is wrong. check all the fuses.

did got the problem It was a loose connector of the radio . thanks now it's working and the anti theft blinks and I will contact acura dealer for the code thank you guys.

you might not need to go to acura, if you havent already. Just go to your owners manual and there should be a small credit card size card in there w/ your security code information for your radio...at least there is in mine.

You don't have to go to acrua to get the code. Just go to the website, sign up for owner link, put the VIN in and it will give you the code.

RSX-men

some dealers stick the code under the fuse box top so you might want to check there.

I just got the code from Acura dealer I had to give them my VIN number the serial number of the radio and another number on the back of the radio and I got the code and the radio is working fine. thank you guys.
