Default rsx buzz noise

i have an 03 rsx type s and i currently have a buzzing noise at 3000rpms and cant quite figure out what it is? a friend saidd that i needed a buzz eliminator kit? not sure what that is...anyone know whats going on?

Where does the sound come from? Take off the I-Vtec cover and see if it still does it.

no it sounds like its coming from the exhaust at 3000rpms

Probably a heat shield then. You didn't even look under the car while someone revs it? What exhaust do you have?

i took the heat sheild off of the cat. i have dc headers and a greddy evo 2 exhaust.

^^^ ya a buzz elimnator kit def worth the money also u may wanna check out ur muffler bearings in the back most likey have a shot bearing happens all the time with that setup u have

i would check the header. usually a small cracked header buzz around 3k rpm. happened to me before on my dc2 stock header.
