Hey guys I'm new to the whole honda-tech so I don't know how to start my own post. But I was wondering if I can put a regular base model engine to a type s engine without a problem? And would my 6 speed tranny fit? Or is there more to it?

Did your Type S engine blow/lock or something?
But yeah I've seen someone going through that and getting an A3 engine from the base because it was cheaper. So I would say definitely possible.
