Oil pump housing needed to swap in JDM K20A?
Im gonna be swapping a base model JDM K20A into an EP3 for a friend. Do I need the oil pump housing to install the USDM crank sensor like on B/H/D series swaps? Or does the JDM K series come as just a drop in? I'm fairly sure I'll have to swap over the USDM intake manifold. It's just a long block swap with the original USDM ECU. 2003 EP3.

Re: Oil pump housing needed to swap in JDM K20A?
^thank you sir. What about the intake manifold? Any additonal ports on the US manifold that require me to swap them over?
Edit: I think that the JDM motor might have a plastic manifold like on base model RSXes. Any advantage/disadvantage in the plastic or aluminum manifolds? I believe the EP3 has an aluminum manifold if memory serves me correctly

You want to swap over the intake manifold from the EP3 engine for sure. The base model plastic manifold is junk and has sensors on it you cannot use. So it would be useless.
