The most important part of the puzzle...
After 6 weeks of waiting too. Finally got my Kpro. Im planning on doing the swap Feb. 4,
2012. I will finishing putting it together this Saturday. Ill take some more picks and show
you my plans and ideas of the swap sometime this weekend.

My idea for the intake... since the intake manifold sits different then the stock one.
This should allow me to retain my cold air intake.

Not sure if i missed this earlier in your thread.....but did you do the rsx water and oil pump swap just so you were able to run the oil cooler? Just curious

almost ready...
So my friend helping me tomorrow might be busy. Which sucks im ready to swap this
motor. Well see I guess. I put my oil pan on tonite.

That was the last picture I got my phone died and I couldn't take anymore pictures.
Got the motor in , not bad for one days worth of work huh?
I had to de rig my ecu pins because the previous owner had a hacked in vafc in my
harness had the car running all kinds of weird. So I had to figure that out. Other than
that it wasnt to bad.

That was a pretty quick install! I guess its a lot quicker in a shop with the right equipment than when I do it in my garage.

I'm planning on buying an ep3 soon and have now started my research on the possible swaps and this thread has motivated me tremendously thanks for that.
As far as my power goals I'm not aiming that high as I'm on budget and even still I'm still contemplating on whether to just turbo the a3 or just go for the k24a2.
If i go k24a2 the ep3 tranny bolts on?
You have to order kpro correct? for the stock ep3 ecu?
Only options I would want to add extra would be the rbc mani, a race header, 3" exhaust and of course stronger mounts.
were you able to keep a/c and p/s without major modifications?
If I go the k24a2 route I would like to keep things simple as far as mods, I will be doing the oil and water pump set up you did, then have a race header, switch to the rbc intake mani custom cold air intake 3" exhaust. And kpro what else would be needed?
