New Guy
Sup guys, I just wanted to say hello.
My name is John, I drive a 2002 Acura RSX Type S.
the car is Firepepper Red Pearl, I have a type r spoiler, rims, intake, exhuast, dcrh, kpro, sound system, and a few other parts that I haven't installed yet.
My next mods are going to be an 05+ bumper/headlight conversion, mugen lip kit, and I want to paint the car white (pearl or championship, not sure yet).

Don't expect to get anywhere near the average price when you ever decide to sell.
Edit: By the way, welcome to Honda-Tech.

Re: New Guy (iBear)
Thanks guys,
and thanks for the advise, I figure I've got three more years worth of payments so I figure I'll end up keeping it for a while. The way things are going to work out I won't be able to purchase any of the other cars I interested in before 2009 when I graduate, and then I'll working away from home with a company provided rental car so I prob. won't buy another car until 2011-2013.
I've had a few other modified hondas and one mitsubishi very briefly so I'm familiar with the drawbacks to modifing your car.
I posted a link to a picture of my car in the dc5 picture thread, but here it is if anyone wants to check it out:

The picture is small but it is the only picture I have hosted online.

Re: (.PLUMMM)
Thanks guys
the rims are 17 inch adr sokudos.
I'll try to snap a few larger shots sometime in the future when the car is clean again. I have been down for the past week+ with bronchitis so the car needs some tlc.

Re: New Guy (SkankyEJ7)
I have a set of spring and camber kits as well innovative mounts and a hondata img waiting to be installed. Hopefully I will be able to get to it when it warms up.
What's wrong with white?

but hey, i'd like to see shots of it in the day-
red has a way of changing color in the light...
Cant wait to see more pics of your Hot tamale!
Welcome, and Good Luck!

Re: New Guy (Tyte-S)
I don't do too many day pics, the frp isn't as nice in the sunlight and the clearooat is peeling on the driver side (thus why I want to have it painted).
Appreciate the comments, and everytime I look at the car I think I am four-wheeling.
I have sportline springs sitting in my closet waiting to be installed, I've had them forever, it's just hard to find the time and a decent place to do the install.
