My Turbo build, archull's 06' RSX Type-s in transitional phase
The time has come, my baby is about to become boosted. It has been a while in planning, my original planned setup fell through, it was going to cost way too much money for me at this point in my life (I am a broke *** college student).
I originally planned on doing a fully built K24 motor with a Full-Race stage 3 turbo kit but that would have broke the bank so I went to plan B.
The new setup is as follows:
-Revhard Turbo manifold, Revhard downpipe & dumptube
-Spearco intercooler
-I had all the turbo hot parts (manifold, downpipe, dumptube, & turbo housing) high temp ceramic coated & I had the intercooler piping ceramic coated then a coat of polished black powdercoat was applied
-Precision SC34 turbo
-Tial 38mm Wastegate
-Greddy RS BOV
-RC Engineering 750cc high Imp. injectors
-GM 3 Bar mapsensor
-GM boost control solenoid
-Autometer Guages (Boost, Electric Oil Pressure & EGT guages)
-Hondata Intake Manifold gasket
My current setup is:
-Hondata Kpro Engine management system
-AEM coldair intake (will remove and sell once turbo goes on)
-DC Sports Race header (will remove and sell once turbo goes on)
-Enjo Motor Mounts
-Tanabe Super Racing Medalion Exhaust
-Megan Racing coilovers
-Ingals camber kit
-Volk Racing wheels (CE28N 18x7.5" +43 offset in bronze)
-Xenon Depot 6500k HIDs
-20% window tint all around
Here are some pics of the stuff that I have so far, I have a few pieces to still get then I am going to install everything:

How do you like your Tanabe Exhaust? How loud was it with just an intake and would you recommend it?

Its ok, I was surprised that it was not that loud. It makes good power (for NA a 2.5" exhaust is all you would ever need) but I am not a fan of the N1 styled exhaust. I am going to be selling it and building a custom 3" exhaust (Kteller 3" stainless steel piping, Magnaflow 14" resonator & an Apexi WS2 80mm turbo muffler). This new exhaust should help the turbo breath and it will look more like stock since it is a full muffler. I am also going to build a custom 3" downpipe, combined with the 3" exhaust it should greatly reduce back pressure and speed up the turbo spool time. Hopefully it will be quiet enough for me.

Yeah, I thought the TANABE might be a bit louder. What catback would you really recommend. I'm thinking of Greddy SP2 or EVO2, Skunk2, or HKS Hi-Power. What you and anyone else think of my choices? By the way, your car is sickness !!!!!

The Skunk2 exhaust sounds like crap and so does the Buddy Club exhaust. They are extremely loud and it blows my mind why anyone ever buys them. I rather something quiet as stock if I still get the HP without the noise.
