I'm almost certain that turbo cars are not affected by elevation. Also there is no way in hell a STOCK EP can run 14.3 (are you nuts?). Is it just me or does CLUBRSX.COM has more post in there "rsx vs all" tread??? thats a sure sign of a riced out site. </TD></TR></TABLE>

guess the LOVE just went down the drain?

Yawp it sure did. He is just mad I guess that he is at 96%. It's ok though everyone gets a little jealous every now and then. But YES no way in hell a Ep3 will run a 14.3 stock that's just goofy.

Ummm. Both my friends have these cars. 03 RSX-S and 00 GSR.

RSX-S-Tanabe Catback, Injen Intake

GSR-AEM CAI

GSR pulls way harder and IS faster. i-Vtec IMO is trash.

You're way off jspechb, no way a gsr with an aem cai will be a rsx s with an cai, the rsx driver must blow, just face the facts a rsx s is faster than a gsr.

Then why generalize about the RSX Type S the way you did?

Ok I will tell you this though IMO the K series is real flaky. Sometimes it will be one fast *** car. Then other times it just isnt quite there it feels sluggish. Thats why there are sooo many different 1/4 mile times out there even with a pro driver. The numbers are just not consistent.

they are consistent they range from 14.7 to 15.2 each... if it was flaky skunk2 wouldnt be putting 2 yrs of R&D into it...

sorry if i brought this post back alive, but i currently own a 99 GSR and once had a CAI and 5zigen fireball, and ive been driving the car for more than a year now (so im pretty confident of my driving skills on my GSR), and i can tell you all that my GSR would not have beaten (stayed up with, but not beaten) a stock RSX type S. take it from a DC2 lover here, i seriously think honda made a great move (as much as i wish they still made the DC2R) in bringing out the DC5, and im looking into buying an RSX type S, and learning from you guys on how to tune it.. thanks for this thread by the way, despite all the hate, it was a good one

but i dont like non believers....</TD></TR></TABLE>

I believe the true definition of stock is how it came from the factory. I'm sorry, but no stock EP3 is gonna pull a 14.3 even with drag slicks and Jesus as the driver. The only stock Ep3 that's gonna pull a 14 anything is an Ep3-R.

Nuff said. Whoever said the Ep3 runs 14.3's stock needs to send me whatever drugs they have. My Type-S stock ran consistant 15.3. In cool weather 3 levels above sea.

fireDC5, Maybe you're still new to your car and you don't fully "know" you car. But the DC2 chassis is flawless, the only this is the outdated interior.

You do know that the dc2 chasis is based off of a mini van(those small honda cars in japan)
