Default highly delayed acceleration with full throttle

2003 civic si.
So my problem is, when going through 1st, 2nd and 3rd ill give it full throttle, but it doesn't pick up immediately. It kinda lags before I actually pick up spee.

The car struggles to gain speed when flooring it from a low rom. The car will rev and the rpms will go up, but it'll take a second or 2 to actually pick up how it normally does.

But it doesn't happen when driving normally on low rpms.

I know this is kinda vague, but hopefully someone knows what I'm talking about.

any thoughts?
thanks

Default Re: highly delayed acceleration with full throttle

My guess would be that the clutch is slipping.
