Headlight Bulbs Keep Burning out!!!
Hey,
I run a 2002 eternal blue pearl civic ex coupe and for the past couple years Ive been havin real trouble findin after-market "blue" bulbs with low beams that last for more than a couple months. I bought the car brand new and the stock low beams never burned out and my year isn't the one that had the harness overheat problem that resulted in burned out low beams in stock bulbs. My last purchase were those $90 PIAA bulbs that burned a nice blue but only lasted 6 months. Ive also been through the Eurolights and the Sylvannas. I guess I should just bite the damn bullet and go HID but I sure as hell dont have the cash right now. Anyone know of any bulbs that burn blue for more than 6 months?

are the bulbs bursting or just burnig out, cause if they are bursting, you are touching them when you put them in and the oils from ur hands are gettin on them and heating them up and bursting them out.....

I've have my Piaa bulbs for a year now and haven't had any problems. Do you put on latex gloves or something just to make sure none of the oils from your skin are touching the bulbs?

make sure you are using bulbs of the same wattage. alot of thise bulbs use twice the wattage to put out the light like that. this can also burn up your harness. find some piaa bulbs of the same wattage as oem or get some hids.
