Default Front seats for Civic Si

I just bought a 2002 Honda Civic Si. Can I replace the 2002 Civic Si seats with 2005 Civic Si seats? Are the years interchangable?

This. I don't think the 02's have side-impact air bags built into the seats, but the '05 seats have side airbags built into the seat (making them much more expensive).

weren't they optional starting in 02? i don't know if they ever made them standard, but i remember reading about side airbags being an option in the ep3.

The seats will fit. The only option on the ep was side airbags.
