No, TSX would be the best swap for the CRV IMO, But its never going to be quick. Leave it alone and buy a civic to mod.

Hahah do you call a civic with an intake and header a modded civic? Not tryin to be rude but there's a reason why alot of people don't boost a cr-v

Re: Do any cr-v come with the rsx s engine in them
both of you calm down!!
what would be your point of putting an rsx motor in the crv if you are just gonna use it for dd?..the k24a1 motor is better anyway unless your doing a head swap which would be dumb imo to put in the cr-v...i have seen multiple elements with swaps and modded but crv, no...keep it stock imo and use it the way it comes

p.s. did they pass a law that required Wisconsin residents to write using only run-on sentences?

Re: Do any cr-v come with the rsx s engine in them
My friend is putting down 602whp on a 100% stock k24a4... why not mod it if he wants to? As you said there are more than enough turbo elements out there all you would really need is turbo kit or just simple built bottom end n/a build. It does seem a bit useless tho depending what he wants out of the car.

i wouldn't DD a car with 602 WHP either. with that amount of power, you're easily spinning all the way through 3rd and possibly 4th, but to each their own. i like my DD's being headache free and easy to drive.

Re: Do any cr-v come with the rsx s engine in them
^agree with above. 602 WHP for a dd is a bit too much for me. I also would like to know what car he's getting 602 WHP out of a k24a4. Just curious, not trying to be a dick about it.

Re: Do any cr-v come with the rsx s engine in them
i know that my local tuner here "the hamburgler" was at 480hp in his ls/vtec eg and even that was pretty tough to dd, clutch wise mainly, if its boosted its not hard to drive it while keeping it out of boost, but then you go no where

This was a terrible thread from the beginning, it's rare that such idiocy is paid so close attention to.

No crv's don't come with rsx engines. If I were you I would keep the k24 engine that comes in your crv, assuming it's not a first gen with a B20 and go from there. They have a lot of potential

Re: Do any cr-v come with the rsx s engine in them
you new mods close a thread about some one asking where to buy JDM emblems with a good thread title for searching, but keep posting pointless comments in this thread. WTF? This should be closed.
A mod tip for you, before you think a thread should be closed do a HT search on it. If results are not clear reply to it with something useful.
Your "job" is to make it easier for users to get information, not to be dicks for no reason.

Re: Do any cr-v come with the rsx s engine in them
I can't believe that we are in a EP3/DC5 forum talking about CR-Vs!
There is an SUV section on HT, I am pretty sure they have a picture thread there!
As for the aemciv, I here your point but you have to understand that this is also a tech forum not a where to buy or where can I find type forum! We have a fs/wtt/wtb thread for those specific types of questions! Also when you do a search don't only do a search try to find thread but do one searching posts! You will be surprised on what you will find...
Also as Josh mentioned if you have a comment/complaint to make don't be shy to PM us... that is what we are here for! I don't mind talking it out and coming up with a solution that can help everybody...
