DIY Custom Emblems/Acetone Wash
Ok first ive never seen any one do this so you will be unique.
Items needed
painters tape
Qtips
cup or paint can cap
patience
acetone
Acetone goes in the cup or lid to prevent it from evaporating to fast, the qtips suck up the acetone making it easier to remove the paint
Tape off your emblems, this is done to prevent acetone from getting on the car paint
depending on your front si emb lem this may or may not work, the OEM emblem is painted, the aftermarket is plastic enlay
start slowly making sure to scrub, dont let your qtip get the fibers stretched, you want to keep the red paint in the grooves and get rid of the surface paint
you can see some paint on the painters tape, thats why tape
finished project, pop open a can of beer or if under 21 a can of pop and enjoy being different
polished and cleaned
