So is everyone here just talking about using regular Honda MTF? Is there a better sub like RedLine? Is the Honda MTF a synthetic? Sorry for thinking out loud but just changed oil today and was thinking about trans next. It works fine and I hope to keep it that way!

Well I just wont he lottery! 2005 EP3 w/ 87k for $7,900 Took it to the mechanic for an inspection and all it needs is an alignment, and some wiper blades .
Swappin out the tranny fluid asap, and switch-in to synthetic soon too.
Oh and it needs a windshield (cracked) and has a few dings but fixing those asap too.

ROFL, I got a 2005 for around 8k with only 51k on the odometer with full HFP kit as well. I did not win the lottery though

Did you even read the first post? Everything that you need to do is there, there is no trans filter.

Alrighty, I'm gonna bump(sorry) this because of similar topic and what I think is the issue.
Did any of you notice that after aprx. 30min of driving shifting/finding gear became infinitely more difficult to do, to the point of no longer being able to find any of the 5+R gears at all? I currently have this going on and it seems to be temperature dependent because once the car has cooled down there is zero issue with shifting until I have been driving for another 30min or so. It's a very odd situation. I'm thinking the mtf might be toast/non-existent. I haven't had the chance to change it yet since I have a Land Cruiser that I can DD which is why I'm asking.
-thanks.
