differences between EP2 sport and Ep3 (type r)
i recently bought a 2003 civic sport EP2, and although looks pretty similar to the type r EP3, i would like to know what the mechanical differences are, as i wish to bgin modding but this is my first project and i am a total newbie to this. can i put the type r cams on my engine? will exhaust systems designed for the EP3 Fit my EP2?
i know that the EP3 has 5 stud wheels and my Car has 4 stud wheels, but does this mean the suspension is different?
any help and pointers would be greatly appreciated, sorry if i have come across as a fool!
cheers

Re: differences between EP2 sport and Ep3 (oddmut)
I think the EP2 has a d16 engine in it. Pretty basic car but looks like a type r.
here's a forum for them http://www.civic-ep2.co.uk/smf/index.php

lol imagine being beat by yaris's and civic lx/ex's hahaha.. maybe even a hybrid? lol
BUT, im pretty sure you'd have to spend a ton of money to make that thing go.. Turbo kit etc.. and even then you'd still get beat by most cars out there.. my advice would be to drive the **** out of it for the next 150-200k.. then swap a k20a2 into it and then spend some money..

Swap that thing wouldn't be that easy because that engine is rotated 180 degrees compared to k20s. Battery, a/c, tranny, fuse box, etc, all on opposite sides. The driver mount and bay where mount is bolted is completely different.
Leave it stock and appreciate it's mileage and storage space.
