Default Camber kit with Tein S-techs?

Do i need a camber kit with a the RSX lowered on Tein S-tech springs. I bought the car with the springs on it and the previous owner said they had the car aligned, however when I put the DC5 type R wheels on, I noticed the stock tires had choppy edges on the inside of the tire. Just curious if anyone was running the same setup and if they had to use a camber kit to align the wheels properly. Thanks.

you are going to need a camber kit with about anything except for the Aspec kit. I just bought Stechs and Koni yellows, and while I am putting them in I will be installing a front and rear camber kit as well.

Yep, just search. You will definetally need a camber kit with s-techs.

Are you running them on the stock struts? Get some Koni Red/Yellow if you are.

Is the ride better with the konis? it is a little bouncy imo, I would like to put coilovers on the car, but since it is my gf's, I don't want to spend any more money on it since I don't get to drive it very often!!! Besides, I have my own car to spend money on!!!!!

Do you track the car? That gets rid of coilovers, too many people waste their money on coilovers and they don't even track! Also, the adjustability of the koni yellows is only helpful on the track, thats why they have the koni red. When it comes down the quality, and performance I'd personally pick the Koni Reds. (w/ s-techs) The stock struts simply can't handle the spring rate of your s-techs.
When it comes down to suspension, your gonna want to do it right, it will reward you.

I heard that you don't even need the front camber kits, just the rears.

Who ever has the Koni Yellow with S-Techs, how much you pay and where did you but them?

I have a 2003 rsx base model lowered on s. techs. WITHOUT a camber kit.

ive also heard you only need it on the rear with s. techs.

ive had the car for about 6-8 months now and the camber is not too bad.
well it is noticeable but not to the point where its overly excessive.
but the tire wear is slightly uneven.

soo..you dont NEED a camber kit, but im sure as everyone will agree it's BEST that you have one anyway.

i personally though have grown to dislike the appearance of s. techs on my car, i'm installing a skunk2 coilover kit and f/r ingalls camber kits this thursday haha

I had a base with S techs for about 2 years. Had it with Koni yellows the last 6 months.

Never really needed a camber kit. The rear could have used it, but it wasnt needed.

Absolutely loved the ride with the s techs and konis.

Thanks guys. So does the konis help the overall ride? IMO the s-techs are a little bouncy at times. I would like to lower the car some more, but I think I will wait until we get a different front lip since the Greddy lip hangs down so low. Guess I'll look into purchasing a rear camber kit soon.

The Konis settle and firm up the ride. Not in a stiff way, just makes the car feel more solid.

do you have the DC5 brembo's? maybe the +60 offset of the Type-R wheels instead of the +45 that would normally go on the car have something to do with it.

If you're talking to me, then no. Always had the stock brake setup. I no longer drive an RSX.

The car is bouncy because you are running lowering springs on stock shocks. The stock shocks can't even control the oem springs, let alone a set of higher rate lowering springs.

Don't lower the car anymore.

And yes, you only need a rear camber kit.
