Icon4 210k mile service!!!

Whats up everyone,

Ive been doing some research and am looking for some feedback on doing my 210k mile service on my stock '06 Acura RSX Type-S. Here is a list of things I am looking to do:

All new engine seals
All new fluids (engine, trans, brakes, coolant, power steering)
All new OEM air filters (engine, cabin)
NGK spark plugs
OEM timing chain
OEM timing chain tensioner
OEM water pump
Valve adjustment

Please let me know if there is anything you would recommend replacing or anything you feel is a must do. All feedback is much appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Tony

All new engine seals (Is the engine leaking any oil from the main seals?, will require to remove engine, or trans to get to one of the main seals)
All new fluids (engine, trans, brakes, coolant, power steering) ( this can be done somewhat easily)
All new OEM air filters (engine, cabin) (easily done)
NGK spark plugs (easily done)
OEM timing chain (do you hear any chain slap?, this takes some work)
OEM timing chain tensioner ( same as above)
OEM water pump ( not so bad to get done, if its leaking)
Valve adjustment (easily done)

Are you doing the work yourself or a dealer/shop?

Hey, thanks for replying foumer!

The engine does have a small leak.
The time chain replacement is more preventative maintenance at this point.
Timing chain, tensioner, water pump, seals and valve adjustment will all be done at my friend's shop.

This is my daily driver and need it done asap.

Anything else you would recommend getting done?

Is it consuming oil by any chance? I would replace the oil pump too and take a look at the main, rod bearings. Replace valve seals and check for valve guide wear and and also a new head gasket. Basically a total engine rebuild if have the $$ and if you want to keep this car for another 100k plus miles.

It does burn a little oil, nothing crazy.
Would you correlate the burning of the oil from the oil pump wearing or is it just something you feel needs to get done at this point?
OEM head gasket my best option for stock engine?

Well for the most part all engines burn a little bit of oil. Now if its more that a quart between oil changes then its most likely a piston ring problem and or worn valve seals. The oil pump doesnt not affect this problem directly. An worn oil pump will affect oil pressure to were it can cause engine damage.
If you decide to change the rings just as a precaution measure, you will have to measure the cylinder bores to make sure they are not oval. Putting just new rings and the cylinders being oval will not stop the oil burning. To fix the problem you will have to bore the cylinders to the next size and get new larger pistons and rings.
There is alot of things you will have to inspect if you are doing a complete engine rebuild. But if you are just doing just seals and gaskets I would still replace the oil pump as precaution.
Use only OEM head gasket.

If the engine has good compression, I would not open it up.

Replace external stuff. If you really want to do the timing chain, it may be worth just removing the motor. Do the front and rear main seals (be careful!), and the water pump, etc. The oil pump isn't a terrible idea, but I doubt you need one.
