Trying to find a video or very detailed guide specific to installing a remote start in a 2002 Acura RSX (not type-s). The specific system I'm installing is a Viper 5706V with IData al-ca bypass. I don't expect to find a guide for that system on that car, but I need something with more information than just the wiring diagrams I have. Thanks for any help.

Installation. All of it. I think I may have it down now (gave one attempt last night and failed. Looked up tons more info. Will try again today). I have all the wiring for the bypass down, my 12v constants, accessory 1, and my ignition 1 (from what I could find the 02 rsx only has one ignition(?)). My main issue now is the remote start has two wires for the starter. One is car side of the starter kill(output) and the other is key side of the starter kill (input). What do I do with this? Do I need to cut the starter wire and put in a relay? So far I've been attaching all the heavy gauge (12v,ign,acc) right at the ignition (the brown clip harness). Is this where I will find the connections for both of those starter wires? I know there is one starter wire here.

Yes, I know with my severe lack of knowledge on this I really shouldn't be doing it myself, but I already spend over $250 on the system, bypass, and flash module and really don't want to drop another ~$250 on installation. appreciate any insight. I can upload a picture of the system wiring diagram in a bit.

Here are the wiring diagrams. What's highlighted yellow is what I KNOW I need please let me know if there are others, I'm not installing the alarm at the moment). What's blue are things I don't need (correct me if I'm wrong). I don't think I need vast majority of the 24-pin harness since I'm using data mode on the bypass. I have an automatic by the way.

Did you set your tach, or does the data-link not require that?

What do you mean by fail, do you hear the engine trying to start but doesn't, cranks 3 times and you get the beeps that it failed?

I have a feeling I know what it is but I still need you to give me details on what the problem is.

You not knowing much about alarm installation isn't helping, its ok that you want to put it out there but what I need to know is the "issue".

Decided it was time to give up. Just got to the point I realized there is too much about it I don't understand. Going to have to suck it up and pay an installer. I appreciate your effort in helping.
