200 cell cat, engine check
Hello
I have question about my Civic EP2, 2003
I have changed my cat to high flow cat from Magnaflow and also muffer from Magnaflow. Everything was ok on the begining no problem also car is going good and smooth. Then one morning when I was driving to my work I noticed on highway I got check engine light (I go on highway right away, about 3min after I start the car). I have reseted the warning light cuz the seller did say that the light might apper after changing the cat and it can be fix with connecting the car to computer. Then I have drive my car more and didnt noticed the light any more, but then again in the morning when I was driving to work light came on again. Once again I reseted, and done some calls to fix this problem with connecting my car to computer but no luck no body have program for this car.
Now I allways make sure that I run my car longer at max 100km/h speed so he heats up and then go to 130km/h and like that I dont get engine check light.
Now I wonder if there is anytning like simulator or something to baypass this warning and if I continioue to heats more time my car and do nothing can I demage something? Something about lean mode?
My car:
Honda Civic EP2
2003
1.6l V-TECH
110 HP
Please for any feadback, regards P

Re: 200 cell cat, engine check
Hello,
Sorry for late reply, this would I belibe to be the fact you will need to buy and install a aftermarket 02 sensor because it realises there may be a problem with the stock cat(even though you don't have this)waning that the engine thinks there is a problem hence the light, search on forums and online bud
