Default 02 civic tie rod replacement HELP

Does anyone know how to or have a DIY on replacing the inner and outer tie rod on an 02 civic? Also would you have to replace both the inner and outer tie rods if your mileage is over 80k? MY outer tie rod boots are torn and I'm not sure if I have to replace the inner ones too.

Thanks in advance.

possible, see if there is any play by moving the tierod back and forth if there is alot of play yeah you need to replace both. It is not hard to replace a tie rod end ( outer) just loosen the tie rod nut first then take the castle nut off the bottom of the tierod and hammer the tie rod out don't hit the tie rod, hit the part holding it in. The after it is off turn the tie rod end counter clockwise to get it off while counting the amounts of full turns it takes to come off, this is important write it down. once you have it off put the new tie rod end on and turn it back the same amount of turns. put the castle nut on when it is in the part holding it in and tighten down make sure to put a new cotter pin in. Now go to alignment shop and get it aligned. YOu should be ok with just replacing the outer tie rod ends and not replacing the inners as long as the bellows aren't torn.
