Yup. Andie (the guy there) has great customer service, really knows his chit about brakes too. Oh, and his prices rock. Don't forget to ask for the h-t.com discount.

As always, your support and loyalty is appreciated!

On the part of brake fluid...just FYI...shipping brake fluid is relatively expensive, IMO. It works out to your advantage to purchase fluid when you place an order for pads, as freight is somewhat like a taxi cab...they "bing" you when you get on the carriage.

The price of $9.95 for Ate Superblue and Typ200 are very low/competitive...and is available to all of our customers. Honda-Tech.com member receive a 10% discount on many products from Cobalt, and a 15% discount on Axxis Ultimate brake pads until the end of August. Also, remember that we do not mark-up shipping at all; you will be charged ONLY for actual UPS shipping charges + $1.00 to cover the box, padding, tape, etc.

I would suggest getting some super blue and some amber if possible. Having two colors makes it a little easier when flushing the system.

ATE in my book. And since it is in a metal can it has a longer shelf life.

I thought they don't make amber.

Andie (cobalt) sells Motul too.

I like Motul RBF 600 because it's still fairly inexpensive ($10-12 for a half-liter bottle) and its boiling point is 57 degrees higher than ATE - that's a BIG difference.

Here are the dry and wet boiling points for many of the most popular brake fluids:

ARRANGED BY DRY BOILING POINT:

DRY:401F -- WET:284F --- DOT3 MINIMUM
DRY:446F -- WET:311F --- DOT4 MINIMUM
DRY:500F -- WET:356F --- DOT5 MINIMUM
DRY:502F -- WET:343F --- VALVOLINE SYNPOWER
DRY:509F -- WET:365F --- MOTUL 5.1
DRY:527F -- WET:302F --- AP RACING 551
DRY:536F -- WET:392F --- ATE SUPERBLUE/TYP200
DRY:590F -- WET:410F --- AP RACING 600
DRY:590F -- WET:518F --- CASTROL SRF
DRY:593F -- WET:420F --- MOTUL RBF600
DRY:610F -- WET:421F --- NEO-SYNTHETIC SUPER DOT 610

ARRANGED BY WET BOILING POINT:

DRY:401F -- WET:284F --- DOT3 MINIMUM
DRY:527F -- WET:302F --- AP RACING 551
DRY:446F -- WET:311F --- DOT4 MINIMUM

DRY:590F -- WET:410F --- AP RACING 600
DRY:593F -- WET:420F --- MOTUL RBF600
DRY:610F -- WET:421F --- NEO-SYNTHETIC SUPER DOT 610
