Default What is a good compression setup for 2.0 N/A?

Wasupp everyone.. Well after 500whp R, I am starting with N/A project for a different taste.... I found a block that is already bored to 2.0 with GE sleeves. I was wondering what would be a strong compression for a street/strip motor?

12.1 is good, considering your gonna run it street, plus the 2.0 already. you will be very happy with a 12.1

Haaaaaaaaaa.. Jeff ur soo funny man.. I do my own **** now.. The moral of the story is to be in this game , U have to do **** urself otherwise u will go bankrupt. I have learned alot from him and my good friends at GR TECHNOLOGIES about motors and I do my own **** now.. Why be in this game if u don't know the abc's of it. I am just building another motor that is going to be na. The boosted motor is for weekend /strip use and this one will be in a hatch to goof around. If u guys ever want any quality work done for a very competitive price, call me. I can build and ship 8-9-10-11 sec short blocks or longblocks and have them delivered to ur doorsteps. I will keep u guys updated on the upcoming project..

Mr. Sherbaz why don't you bring that **** up here and race Jesus already, he'll even give you a few cars! LOL

I am glad you are doing your own work, did you get sick of paying John $100,000 to do tuneups?

Give me a call if you still got my number, we still need to get this race going.

As fast as Sherbazz's 1.8L is... it wouldn't hold up to Jesus's car.

I know both cars and I know how they operate. That Supras damn near unbeatable.

So that answers the question:

Jesus drives a Supra.

Got any pics?

Yes... if it *is* the car I'm thinking of...

It's a '94 TT red 6-speed with 272's making about 850 to the wheels on good gas. I've heard horror stories about that car on the track getting sideways at the 1000 foot mark.

This car has spooled up right next to my drivers side window while on the street and I had to change my underwear.

Jesus won the dyno challenge in Texas. He is seen in Turbo mag. He has a red Supra with gold Volk wheels.

I know Jesus real well ,cool guy! I might buy one of his cars.. He's one of the most feared/respected street racers on the east coast! I am not lying you literally need a few grand to pull up next to him or he won't his gas.

Jeff, first I want to race your car and then I will race Jesus. Stop jumping around like a clown on something which u don't own. Letz forget Jesus and talk about ur car. When do u want to run? I will have a friendly race with Jesus when I come to Orlando..

He's got the eastcoast street racing scene locked down pretty much... I can't think of another import that could touch him besides Titans Supra which............. uhhh....... is a VERY nice car, but isn't as streetable technically as Jesus.

Jesus has a complete interior'd non stripped Supra that can belt out low 9s.

my little n/a car vs your turbo monster. umm yea fair race there bro..

Remember you were talking all the smack about you beating everybody when you streetraced and I proposed that you run Jesus. I arranged that to be done, but you came up with lame excuses.

I'll race your turbo car , I don't give a ****, I know I won't win, but if it makes you feel manly to beat me then so be it..

Bring it.

I think what needs to be looked at here is a comparison of what the two cars are. They're in two totally different leagues.

I give it utmost respect to both cars. In my opinion, I believe Shabazz's ITR is one of the nastiest, fastest street Integras in the country.

Jesus's car is a Supra out of control, making waaaaayyyy too much power for a street car (yeah right). Over 850hp to the wheels, nothing will hang with that.

They both should be respected for what they are... and in my opinion, a race between the two would be dumb. Sean may be able to leave Jesus for 1st and 2nd gear or so... but obviously, the Supras going to blow by him. The race is easily callable.

A 130mph car compared to a 150+ mph car (1/4 mile wise) is pretty much a given by who would win.

Dewd...Jesus Supra is very nice...

But its not even close to low 9sec car, and it's not a 150mph car either.

Both cars aren't gonna hook for **** on the street...

I'd actually like to see that race.
