We have all heard of the reported counts of thefts, damage, etc. to our beloved R's, though I am curious as to some statistics or posts regarding how bad it "really" is in different parts of the country.

From what I gather, the West Coast is horrible. The upper East Coast the same? What about the midwest or anywhere else?

Big problem areas, as far as I have seen:

CA: any decently populated area
Washington State: very bad very recently
DC/Metro Area (VA/MD included): getting worse by the day
NYC: forget having an Integra there at all
NJ: horrible
FL: stay away from the 305

the further you are from a city, the better off you are.

Texas is seriously bad.

Vandalism is big here, not sure about theft. Can't say I want to find out.
