DO NOT do that to your R!
Yes, you may get bugs / chips, but thats better than the alternative.
Bras collect those small rocks / leaves / moisture / who knows what else, and do even more damage to the paint.
They are a pain in the *** to remove / clean / install. Your paint will end up looking like *** in a couple of months, and you will wish you never wasted the $.
Just my $.02 eurocents

I agree, if left on they can do more harm then good, but If you kept the bumper clean and maintained it day to day I'm sure it'd be a help.

Re: Type R bra? (Super7)
DO NOT DO IT..........you will begin to see a difference between the paint under the bra and the rest of your car as the sun fades the color a little.......

Lol, I've been using the bra on my car for years and my front end looks new...
Just make sure you check periodically to make sure rocks aren't getting in there, and take it off in wet weather.
I got more wear on my front end in 2 weeks without the bra, than in 2 years with it. Go figure.....

I have one, and I love it. It won't do ANY harm what so ever, if you take care of it. Don't let it get wet, and if it does, then take it off and let it dry. I'm glad I got mine.
I paid 110 for it new and after the first time you put it on (takes maybe 1/2 hour), it will come on and off in less than 5 minutes.
I take it off and clean the car at least once a week, and I wax several times a year too. Just take care of it and it will help your car.
