specs on obd2 alternators

specs on obd2 alternators
my question is are all obd2 alternators specs such as amp ratings the same...i can get my hands on a obd2 ls alternator and gsr alternator...not sure if the Type R one is high output i know they all fit...
any help will greatly be appreciated thanks
