RIP, friends itr.
Before
After
I believe the number was 98- 0483 if i remember right. It was stolen and rebuilt, had about 3 different engines, the pretty new jdm b18c in it now that is destroyed.
The driver walked away with just a headache, someone pulled out in front of him while he was going i believe 70. It was a truck with two illegal immagrants from what i understand, they took off running. Ill give more updates when i get more details.

Holy Christ! That is amazing he just had a head ache...though, you don't feel deep tissue injuries until several days afterwards. Regardless, without the information you provided the first thing I thought was your buddy went through the windshield. That car is toast. Time for a RHD front clip?
Glad he's okay.
Aloha,
Brandon

Its been about a week now, he seems to be ok still. I still cant get over it, it was such a nice car. I am sure insurance owns it now, that car has a history for sure. It was stolen, recovered, rebuilt with a b20, awesome set-up. Then blew that engine, then had a b18c1 bottom with b16 head, was ok.... Then a bad valve adjustment blew it, he got the b18c about 6 months ago..... The car only had 40-50k miles i believe, i only got to ride in it a couple times.... so sad...
Glad he's okay.

honestly, it seems as though he was going too fast for the conditions although some asshat pulled out in front of him. he's lucky to have his life.

Re: RIP, friends itr. (KayOs)
yea, i knew the car too, we are like brothers (well the 2nd owner of the car at least - cousins actually). That car was in prestine condition until about the last year when all hell broke loose with it. Stolen, rebuild, yada yada yada as mentioned before. Guess we should have taken those pics we always talked about. Not sure about what's going to happen to that R, but I doubt it will see the road again.
Driver is ok and seems to still be shock over the whole situation, at least what to do about the car. Send my regards to Clint.

Damn look at the passenger air bag.... That thing is made to reach the damn backseat... Looks like a sheet blew out of the dash. Looks as if it may knock you to the backseat....
