need to know asap, anyone know how to reset the airbag?
had an aftermarket wheel but took it out, but how do i reset the airbag?
how do i reset the computer for the airbag?
the car is a 2000 ITR, if that makes a difference.

yes... unless some 1 has the Acura computer that can do it... but that is mostly no..

Why would dealer void your warranty when you pay them and ask them to reset the airbag for you?

i'd still like to know where people come up with such incorrect information...

to erase DTC memory from the SRS unit
1. make sure ignition is off
2. short the MES connector (2P) at the SRS brain. MES = memory erase signal connector, [GRN,GRN] or [WHT, BLK]
3. turn ignition swith to ON
4. SRS indicator comes on for ~ 6 seconds and goes off. Remove the short for the MES connector within four seconds after the SRS indicator goes off.
5. The SRS indicator come s on again. Reconnect the short to the MES connector within the four seconds after the SRS indicator light comes on.
6. THe SRS indictor light goes off. Remove the short from the MES connetor within four seconds.
7. The SRS indicator light indicates that the memory is erased by blinking two times.
8. Turn the ignition switch OFF.

all you lazy bitches should buy the helms.
