Default P1457/Aftermarket Intake Manifold

A little introduction. I just bought an 00 Type R with 130k miles. It had Aftermarket intake/intake manifold, injectors, s300/P28 ecu.

I need to get it to pass emissions. I've already gone back to stock injectors, stock ecu. I was hoping to pass with the manifold (Edelbrock Performer X), but I'm getting a P1457 code, and I believe its related.

The previous owner appears to be a moron, it's the messiest engine bay i've ever seen with exposed wires, things missing, etc.

So, Here's where I think the problem lies:

The intake manifold have several inputs on the back:

Currently there is just one hose plugged in at the back. This hose is the brake booster vacuum line.
Per the installation instructions I've found, this should actually be connected 1 hole over to the right.
The hole that it is currently installed in, should be the vacuum line from the Evap Purge control solenoid valve?

Am i correct so far? Do those holes in the back of the intake manifold matter or do they all go into the same place?

Ok, next:

Here is the Evap purge control solenoid valve. The horizontal line goes to the Evap Control canister, that looks good.

The line that comes out the bottom is the problem. Per the service manual this should go straight into the back of the intake manifold, is that correct?

Mine doesn't.
Here's where it goes:

It goes down below to this strange "T" section with one of the lines capped off right there.

The second line that leaves the T goes into a black box (PCV Valve)

So the line goes into the top of this black box, located right next to oil filter. It is plugged into the red input on top of the black box. At the black input there is a line that looks like its connected straight to the engine? I couldn't figure out where that line goes.

So my main questions:
Should the vacuum line our of the Evap Purge Control Solenoid Valve go straight into the intake manifold? Does it matter which hole it goes into?
What is supposed to go into the black box?

Thank you very much in advance! I've been going round and round with the service manual and can't put all of the pieces together.
