Just got PY ITR (56k ok)
I just got the Type R last week.

How many of you Type R owners had your R stolen? And please recommend the best way to layer security. Due to the high theft rate of ITRs, I will not be posting what kind of security i have on the R. As of now, it's more secure than the local Bank of America vault. But please feel free to give me suggestions.
Also, what's the best way to prevent a towtruck from towing your car away? Is there a certain way I can turn my tires or pull the e brake? And what about flatbeds? Does anyone know how long it takes for a pro to flatbed a car?

Congrats on the purchase.
Fuel pump cut switch in undisclosed location. That will give them hell, partly because it will likely start but not run long.
There was a report recently of a car being driven 10 feet (fuel pump off) and dying and the theives being caught.

Re: (lax1185)
sweet car...anyone know what kind of lip that is? oem lips are getting harder to find, and a nice subtle aftermarket lip would be a great spare.

my PY R was just stolen a little over a month ago. Be careful, there seems to be an epidemic the last year or so. Good Luck with it!

Congrats on the purchase. I drove a flatdeck for a number of years, both 1 and 3 tonne, and believe me, if someone wants yer car they will get it. Park it in a garage with an alarm and chain it to the floor.

honestly, i wouldn't doubt it if some people chained it to the floor. it's just as realistic as people putting up surveillance cameras in their garage.
