Default JDM ITR Front End Install - The Part Numbers for Parts that Most of you probably didn't know to use.

I always notice in posts here that members seem to be rumaging through what parts work with the JDM front and what will fit in somethings place etc (Ex: Using a DA Integra Hood Latch Cable or an Accord one, BTW use the 90-93 DA Integra cable)
A few parts that seem to widely vary are the clips, grommets and screws people use to secure the bumper and grille. Usually I hear people saying they just went to Honda or Acura and bought whatever they had that would fit, So since I was doing a Front end at the shop this week I figured I'd post up the Correct part #'s so that everyones Front ends would fit better and be secured correctly.

Here are the Part Numbers (Same parts and #'s for the JDM Parts list) for the Plastic Guides that pop into the fender and correctly space the bumper from the fender so you don't have any sag, The two Grommets and Screws that pop into the holes on the inside of the headlights and secure the Front Grille into place, And The Bumper Clips that mount the bumper to the Bumper support under the Front Grille.

<U>ALL available at your local Honda dealership</U>

71598-SL4-013 - Spacer (Plastic Guide for Bumper) - Order 2
91635-SM4-003 - Grommet (Fits in the insides of the headlights to secure the Front Grille) - Order 2
90109-SS0-000 - Screw (for Above) - Order 2
91503-SP0-003 - Bumper Clip (Secure Bumper to its Support) - Order 3

Enjoy

That is awesome info, I will probably go and pick all of those up so that I have the correct pieces for my front end.

Now there just needs to be a write up on how to wire it all up. So ppl stop driving around with their sidemarkers and corners on.

you seriously dont need those clips. all you need is the top 2 screws to be held in. the clips really dont have a purpose. i think i have mine laying around somewhere, i took them off b/c it didnt make my grill sit right. the grill kept popping off the bumper.

I don't know why this time around my grill pops out, my last front end didn't do that advice?

DAMn,..now you post it!
I'm in the Middle of my DIY JDM Conversion and the only thing I was wondering was about the JDM Fender Brackets & the Bumper clips(right under the Grill)!
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by NWP4LIFE &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">what about the grill clips? I heard you can get some from the Toyota dealer, but not sure about honda </TD></TR></TABLE>

Yep,..I got 3 clips right here,...Don't need em either!

Now...what about the JDM Fender brackets?

as for the Headlight wiring...My Conversion came w/ the Harness' that Mike M Sells and makes LIFE sooooo much eaiser.
Everyone was telling me "cut the Green wire w/ yellow Stripe and toss it aside if you want you Blinkers to ONLY flash when signaling"...well...its the Red wire you don't use(on the Factory Corner Bulb).Splice into the Blk and Green Wire to your Sidemarker & corner bulb for them to only flash. (For those who forgot)

and the way I fixed the US Corner bulb(to fit) was Trim 1 little Tab down*the Biggest),.then wrap the base of the bulb w/ Elec Tape to make it twist w/ "super seal".Works like a Champ!

My Revised DIY JDM conversion will be up soon but just need a place to host it all. Will include wiring and everything-pic's included

Great Thread MIKE!

edit: now that I picture it...mine has the Plastic Guides already in the fenders

Great info!

Anyone know where I could pic up a set of JDM fender brackets? The USMD fender brackets do not properly work with JDM dc2 fenders.

I am refering to part # 20 in the pic.....

More JDM ITR front end part # pics and info here:

I can get them, not a problem, $50 sounds about right.

It seems to me that Alot of places have been selling stripped down Front End Kits, as in they leave out parts. Thing's I have heard people missing are Rubber moldings for hood, Foglight or Headlight access covers, fender brackets, usually small pieces but the $$ adds up when you go to buy the stuff after.
